Shion will awaken on the table entirely conscious, able to move and to speak, although Jason will ignore anything he says and the retrieval units will hold him down.

Jason will inject Shion with some sort of drug and he will almost black out, but not quite. He will spend an unknown amount of time drifting in and out of consciousness, able to see the ceiling above him but nothing else. He will be returned to the Tower an hour later than usual and suffer from an hour of sleep paralysis following this. Shion's entire body will be numb for an hour after the sleep paralysis subsides.

Shion will have lost a moderate, noticeable memory regarding the Tower--how collar inspections work, what order the administrators take control of the Tower, or something like that. While he will be able to learn this again, it will work as if he was forming a new memory of something he never knew before, even though he'll be sure he should already know it.
