Usually you aren't allowed to transfer from museboxes. However, in Mayfield's case, this is a closed musebox based around previous acceptance to a game, and therefore you would be allowed to take Zidane from the new town instead if you so wish (though it would still count as a transfer from mayfield_rpg).
