Character Death Repercussions

If your character has died seven times, you must make a thread for them here. This will be your death count thread. You're free to have your character die as much as you like within the Tower, but there will be different effects stacked on top of the hour of sleep paralysis (this will always happen no matter how many more deaths you get, but it will never rise above an hour). Upon making a thread for your character, reply to it informing us you're on your seventh death. We will reply back with the effects that will happen. Reply to your thread every time your character dies, as the effects will change bit by bit over time.

If your character has died fourteen times, you will continue posting to the thread as usual, but be aware they will begin suffering permanent side effects. These side effects will generally be related to the loss of memories. They will start out minor but will get more severe as deaths increase.

On April 23rd, John died a seventh time.

John will hear indistinct sounds. He won't be able to tell where they're coming from, except that they're very close to him.

He will then black out and awake with an hour of sleep paralysis as usual.

On May 25th, John died an eighth time. Vriska would be proud??

Not sure if this effects anything, but it was a result of being dragged into the mirror thanks to the rumor event.

John will hear voices--they sound familiar, though he won't yet be able to place them, and extremely close to him. It's like they're inside of him.

He will then black out and awake with an hour of sleep paralysis as usual. His right arm will be numb as if he had slept on it for ten minutes after sleep paralysis subsides.

On July 29th, John died a ninth time.

John will hear voices--familiar and inhuman voices coming from somewhere inside his head.

He will then black out and awake with an hour of sleep paralysis as usual. His arms will be numb as if he had slept on them for twenty minutes after sleep paralysis subsides.

On August 14th, John was drained by the shadow children and died a tenth time.

John will hear the voices of his Pokemon coming from somewhere inside his head. They sound alarmed and confused.

He will then black out and awake with an hour of sleep paralysis as usual. His arms and right leg will be numb as if he had slept on them for thirty minutes after sleep paralysis subsides.
